Commissions
Commissioned work is a celebration for me. Whether it is a personal painting for your home, a brand or signature for a business, or a set of picture-book illustrations, they always bring a new story to me. Every commission is important to you and therefore it is important for me as well. Together we will tell this story the best possible way.

In COVID-19 times many invested in their home. Uri and Dana created this beautiful balcony. I was walking the streets next to my home and encountered this place, and this encounter resulted in this commission they made for their 3rd anniversary.

ציורי מקור בדרך כלל נתלים על הקירות, איורי ספרים מודפסים בבתי דפוס, ואילו איורים דיגיטליים המוצגים על מסך עוברים עיבוד שמשפר אותם לשם כך, ואפילו מתוכננים מראש על מנת לשרת את המטרה שלהם בצורה הטובה ביותר.
Preparation
While the content of a commissioned painting gets deep thought, there are still a few questions we should ask ourselves before commissioning artwork.
How many paintings will there be?
Whether it is a single painting, a set of two or a whole picture book, it is important to know how many there will be.
What is the size of the art?
Size affects the amount of time needed to execute the work, and naturally the pricing. A size of a book spread is almost impossible to change post factum, and will be determined before the work starts.
How will the artwork be viewed?
Original paintings are mostly hung on walls, book illustrations are printed in commercial print houses. Digital illustrations are viewed on screens and need to be optimized for it, and they should be planned ahead to serve their purpose best.

Process
A commission is a process we go through together. It is important to match expectations both on the content of the art and on the technical side of things.
Larger projects require a contract describing the rights of each side, the work stages, feedback points and delivery and payment conditions.
