Viper Valentine's day greeting card

In the zip you will find three files

• PDF -  a digital high resolution (300 dpi) printable PDF, with 0.2” bleed and crop marks. Printed size is 10”X7”, folded in half is 5”X7”. Suited for professional printing.

• JPG -  300 dpi Jpeg, with no marks on them, one for each side.

Due to different monitors and different printers and papers, there may be slight color variation from the product photos.

PRINT AT A PRINTHOUSE

I highly recommend that you use a professional printing service for best results. This way, you get to choose the paper and the finish.

If you want to add your own personalized message on the card, make sure you choose a card material you can write on.

PRINT AT HOME

You can print this file at home or at the office, as it fits on a standard A4 print sheet. 

(NOTE) If you use special paper (for example, photo paper or glossy paper), be sure to print the outside of the card (side A) on the glossy side, and the text side (side B) on the matte side. 

If you want, you can print only one side, and don’t even have to fold it. It’s your choice :)

So here is how you print at home.

• Load the desired paper in the printer. 

• Open Side A JPG file. Choose print.

• Make sure that layout is Landscape, quality is Best, you print in color, and the paper kind is the one you loaded or similar.

• Center image on the page in the printer layout interface.

• Print Side A.

• Reload the page into the printer input feeder, maintaining top-bottom orientation.Flip the page along the short edge and reload into the printer.

• Open side B jpg file. Choose print.

• Make sure that layout is Landscape, quality is Best, you print in color, and the paper kind is the one you loaded or similar.

• Center image on the page in the printer layout interface.

• Print Side B.

• Carefully fold the sheet in half along the horizontal center: attach top corners, bottom corners and gently press along the fold. 

• Using a metal ruler and a knife, trim 0.7” from top, bottom and open side (approximately) to get the 5”X7” size.

A snake might be a weird choice for a Valentine’s day card, but no one caters to snake lovers  on this day and that is unfair. So, to rectify this injustice, I present you with the beautiful painted saw-scaled viper, whom you can  occasionally find in the wild sporting a lovely pink hue (depending on the color of their habitat).

• Color of the snake in the card was enhanced to be more pink then they naturally are :)
